ST. DYSMAS WORSHIP    
CLC will participate in the worship service at St. Dysmas on Thursday, January 19.  You are invited to sign up to attend.  We have three forms for each participant to complete and return to the church office by January 1 so we may get all the information to their office by their deadline date of January 3.  Please call the church office to sign up or email christsec@hotmail.com.

COUPLES RETREAT: Feb. 9--12
It is time to start planning for the Couples Retreat.  We are going to Outlaw Ranch in beautiful Custer Thursday, February 9, and returning Sunday, February 12.  For those who have went in the past, please come and join us for fun, fellowship and food.  For those who have not attended, you should join us for the weekend!  For information on costs and to sign up see Arden Jones or call him at 528-5653.

MONEY MATTERS WORKSHOP
The final three dates for the workshop are January 8, 15 and 22: 9:30 am (during coffee hour)

Workshop Description:   This interactive, money management workshop series starts with a stewardship foundation. During the workshop, participants will learn how to:

• Identify what is important in their lives and set goals.
• Make sharing, saving and spending decisions that align with their values.
• Apply basic money management tools to help them budget, reduce debt and find money to save.

The workshop was the 2008 adult category winner of the Excellence in Financial Literacy Education (EIFLE) from the Institute of Financial Literacy.
Presenter Christopher Bergst grew up in Colorado Springs, CO.  He played college soccer for Northwestern College in Orange City, IA.  He graduated with honors and degrees in accounting and finance.  He met his wife at Northwestern as well and they currently reside in Sioux Falls, SD.  He has been with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for 3 years.
